According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Dusan Vlahovic is the subject of interest from Manchester United. The 25-year-old Juventus striker is also a target for AC Milan, while intermediaries have made Chelsea aware of his situation. However, San Siro is his preferred destination for the summer transfer window, thus dealing a blow to the Premier League club.
Dusan Vlahovic has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022. The Serb snubbed Arsenal to move across Serie A, and he was one of the best young prospects in the Italian top flight when he chose the Allianz Stadium as his destination.
However, the 25-year-old has not lived up to the billing in the last three and a half years, as he has blown hot and cold throughout his spell with Juventus. Vlahovic contributed to only 20 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions by finding the back of the net 15 times and providing five assists. However, the Serbian striker’s stock in the market is high, with Manchester United and AC Milan vying for his signature.
Manchester United will dip into the market for a striker in the summer transfer window after Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee struggled to score consistently in the 2024/25 season. So, several strikers have emerged on the Red Devils’ radar. However, Vlahovic is also a target for Manchester United.
Meanwhile, recent reports have claimed that intermediaries have offered Dusan Vlahovic to Chelsea. The Blues remain in the market for a striker despite signing Liam Delap earlier this month. So, Vlahovic was an option worth considering for Chelsea.
However, Chelsea and Manchester United do not have a chance to sign the 25-year-old Serb, who prefers to join AC Milan in the summer transfer window. Tammy Abraham may depart from San Siro this summer, and the Serie A giants are keen on signing a striker. So, Vlahovic is a viable target for AC Milan.
So, Chelsea and Manchester United must look elsewhere for a new striker, with Vlahovic keen on joining AC Milan. It will be interesting to see if the Rossoneri can strike an agreement with Juventus for the Serbian striker’s signature.
