The Whites are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit in the summer transfer window by signing a striker. So, the 25-year-old US Lecce centre-forward has emerged as a target for the newly promoted Premier League club.
The Serie A outfit will demand around €25-30 million to part ways with the Golubovci native, with Leeds United making the initial move to secure his services. However, Krstovic wants to remain at US Lecce beyond the summer transfer window, thus dealing a blow to the West Yorkshire club’s prospects.
Nikola Krstovic has established himself as one of the most dependable strikers in Serie A since joining US Lecce from Dunajka Streda in August 2023. The 25-year-old has come leaps and bounds in the last two years, and he enjoyed a solid 2024/25 campaign with I Salentini.
The Montenegrin striker contributed to 17 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions by finding the back of the net 12 times and providing five assists.
