Former Lyon and Arsenal centre-forward Alexandre Lacazette (34) has joined Neom SC, the Saudi Pro League side has announced. The 34-year-old France international has joined a two-year deal with the promoted SPL outfit, who is set to be coached by former PSG manager Christophe Galtier. The Lyon Academy graduate was a free agent following the expiry of the three-year contract he signed in 2022 with his formative club.

Over two spells with Lyon, Lacazette has logged 201 goals and 55 assists in 391 games played with Les Gones. In Neom, Lacazette will link up with a former Lyon teammate: Algerian international winger Saïd Benrahma. The Lyon-born Lacazette successfully passed his medical with Neom last week. Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka is also expected to join the Saudi Pro League side.
