Lille OSC have announced the signing of former Standard Liege goalkeeper Arnaud Bodart (27). Bodart was a free agent after spending the second half of the last Ligue 2 campaign at FC Metz, which have been promoted to Ligue 1 after defeating Reims in the promotion play-offs. Bodart has signed a two-year deal with Bruno Genesio’s Les Dogues.

Bienvenue chez toi Arnaud ❤️@NBFootball
Lille were in the market for an understudy to France international Lucas Chevalier – who has leapfrogged Rennes’ Brice Samba in the hierarchy of France goalies – considering Vito Mannone left the club upon the expiry of his contract. Bodart, who has already been called up to play for Belgium’s national team, will wear the No. 1 jersey with the Ligue 1 side.
