Lille OSC have completed a deal to sign Loun Srdanovic (19) from Swiss Club Servette FC, it was confirmed on Monday.
LOSC are preparing for the departure of Thomas Meunier. The Belgium international thrived last season, but is out of contract. It looks unlikely that he will remain with the Ligue 1 club amid notable interest from Hull City and Valencia.
Recruiting in this position had become a priority for Les Dogues. Whilst Tiago Santos may be expected to fill the void, depth is needed and a prospect has been recruited in the position. The deal to sign Srdanovic advanced quickly. It was reported on Monday morning that the Switzerland U19 international was nearing a move to the Stade Pierre Mauroy and by the early afternoon, the transfer had been officialised.
The right-back has signed a four-year deal, it has been confirmed. Last season, Srdanovic played 17 games in all competitions.
