Arsenal prepare €110 million kitty to seal Nico Williams, Viktor Gyokeres deals

Arsenal are preparing moves to land in-demand attacking duo Viktor Gyokeres and Nico Williams this summer ahead of their rivals.

According to Fichajes, Arsenal are ready to make their moves to land in-demand attacking duo Viktor Gyokeres and Nico Williams in the summer. The Gunners are eager to bolster their attacking ranks on priority in the upcoming window, which could see them pip Barcelona for either of those forwards.

Arsenal have set the agenda to get in their main targets at the earliest in this window, which includes a new midfielder, striker and a left-winger. A deal for Martin Zubimendi is reportedly in place as it’s a matter of time before the official formalities are completed with Real Sociedad, which could be done once the season ends.

A striker has been firmly on Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta’s agenda, and Viktor Gyokeres has emerged as their main target. The Gunners have also kept Benjamin Sesko on their list, with Berta still considering the Slovenian as an option, although at this moment he seems more like an alternative to the Swedish striker.

Arsenal are also looking at bringing in a new winger, preferably for the left-hand side, with Nico Williams’ name linked heavily. The Gunners must trigger his release clause, and it appears, the Athletic Club attacker alongside Gyokeres could emerge as their two main attacking targets, as the club are now preparing moves to land in-demand attacking duo.

Arsenal are readying a bumper contract for Gyokeres, as that move looks pretty straightforward from an outside view. Sporting CP have reportedly slashed a considerable portion of their asking price, which could end up benefiting the Gunners in their pursuit of the striker.

Arsenal in €110 million double attacking move

The suggestion is that Arsenal are prepared to spend in the region of €110 million to land Gyokeres and Williams. The details of the latter’s release clause remain unknown, although should the Gunners make efforts to land the duo, then the total cost could get slightly higher.

Gyokeres’ move looks much closer compared to Williams, as there are many factors for Arsenal to consider before they make the deal. There are concerns with the winger’s wages, which has forced the Gunners to look at options like Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens as well as Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo as options, as the latter offers plenty of versatility compared to the other two who are out and out left-wingers.
