Last year, playing for the Spanish national team, look at everything he contributed, it was enough to win the European Championship. But not just because of the goals he scores, but because of how he manages the game, what the team needs at every moment. To do that at his age is hard to believe. You have to see it to believe it.”
It is highly unlikely that Manchester United will be able to sign the young attacker in future. The 17-year-old will want to continue at his boyhood club and help them win major trophies. He’s undoubtedly a world-class talent who is set for great things in future. Any club that manages to sign him could have a superstar on their hands.
Meanwhile, Manchester United must look to improve their attacking unit in the summer. They have looked toothless at times this season, and it remains to be seen whether they can bring in a reliable centre and a dynamic winger who is capable of chipping in with goals and assists.
In theory, Yamal would be an exceptional acquisition for them, but it is an unrealistic addition, and they are unlikely to be able to pull it off.
