According to a report from Le Parisien journalist Marc Mechenoua former Strasbourg and Rennes manager Julien Stéphan has agreed a two-year deal to take charge over EFL Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

The London club are actively searching for a new head coach after parting ways with Spaniard Martí Cifuentes at the end of the season. Cifuentes was dismissed after holding talks with other English clubs without informing QPR’s hierarchy. The Hoops finished 15th in the second tier, where they currently count Jonathan Varane—the younger half-brother of Raphaël Varane—among their ranks.
