Official | Reims sign former Nantes centre-back Nicolas Pallois

Reims have announced the signing of free agent Nicolas Pallois (37). The veteran centre-back was a free agent after 8 years of service with FC Nantes. Les Canaris opted not to renew Pallois’ contract as the club plans a large overhaul of the squad that Luis Castro inherited. Nantes have already found Pallois’ replacement in free agent Uros Radakovic.

Pallois has signed a one-year deal with Karel Geraerts’ Reims, which includes an option for a further year. The former Bordeaux centre-back will wear the No. 5 jersey with Les Stadistes. Reims were relegated to Ligue 2 following a defeat to FC Metz in the relegation play-offs. However, the Champagne side may be promoted back to Ligue 1 immediately, pending the outcome of Lyon’ appeal against their administrative relegation.
