Richarlison ready to leave Tottenham

Richarlison could consider an exit from Tottenham following the club’s pursuit of top attacking talent Mohammed Kudus from West Ham.

According to Football Insider, Richarlison could be readying an exit from Tottenham following a crucial transfer update. Spurs are chasing Mohammed Kudus’ signature, which could spell the end for the  Brazilian attacker in north London.

Richarlison could be considered a failed signing by many sections of the Tottenham fanbase. The Brazilian attacker finished a third season at the club. In an underwhelming fashion, although he can lean towards the multiple injury issues he had during the campaign.

Tottenham had already signalled his end last summer when they splashed the money on Dominic Solanke. In the current window, the club could land the decisive blow that will determine the Brazilian’s future, as a potential new arrival could threaten the 27-year-old attacker’s time at the club.

Spurs saw a bid for Mohammed Kudus rejected by West Ham and may have seen fresh proposals turned down too. However, Tottenham are expected to return with a viable proposal, as Kudus is prioritising a move to Tottenham above other suitors.

The Ghanaian’s arrival from West Ham could all but end Richarlison’s time at the club, as the 27-year-old attacker could consider offers. Tottenham have been actively working to offload Richarlison, with the anticipation of lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia.

Will Richarlison leave Tottenham?

Richarlison was a big-money arrival at Spurs three years ago, and so far, he has failed to nail down a starting spot under different managers. The club have lost patience with his form and are not eager to place another bet that he might come good in the upcoming season.

There’s every possibility for the Brazilian to depart as there are some teams within the Premier League keen, while Saudi and Turkish sides are also showing an interest. Tottenham might have to cut down their demands for the 27-year-old attacker, which could see the Brazilian depart north London in favour of a switch where he has a prominent role.

However, with the World Cup approaching in 2026, Richarlison would want to play regularly to stand a chance of featuring on Carlo Ancelotti’s side next summer. Hence, he will make a concerted decision on his future, although the prospect of staying at Tottenham could prove damaging for his World Cup prospects.
