Manchester City reach agreement to sign Rayan Ait-Nouri

Manchester City have struck an agreement with Wolves for left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri in a deal close to €40 million.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have found an agreement with Wolves for the signing of Rayan Ait-Nouri. The left-back will move clubs for a fee close to €40 million, as his medical tests are planned for Saturday.

Manchester City are moving at a relentless pace in the transfer market, as they are closing in on a few signings well in time before the Club World Cup. Pep Guardiola had clearly defined his requirements to the club’s board, and it appears they have obliged with some high-profile signings.

Manchester City were looking for a new left-back with an attacking mindset, which will see Josko Gvardiol used more as a centre-back in the upcoming campaign. They had been chasing Rayan Ait-Nouri of Wolves, and it appears the two clubs have found an agreement.

Manchester City have agreed on a fee close to €40 million, with the Algerian left-back set to undergo his medical tests on Saturday. Once he passes those formalities, the left-back is expected to sign a long-term deal and be a part of Manchester City’s squad for the Club World Cup.

Manchester City closing in on two more signings

Manchester City are set to regroup their squad and bring in some important names before the Club World Cup. They are already closing in on Tijjani Reijnders as a deal has been agreed with AC Milan to sign the midfielder, who could become their next signing after Ait-Nouri.

They are also closing in on Rayan Cherki after agreeing on personal terms with the French attacker from Lyon. The trio are expected to be a part of their Club World Cup squad, as they will occupy some crucial positions in the team going forward.
