According to a report by The Sun, Tolu Arokodare is the subject of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a striker in the summer transfer window. So, the 24-year-old KRC Genk centre-forward has emerged as a target for the West London club, and they have held preliminary talks to sign him.
In addition, Arokodare is a target for Manchester United, with the Red Devils scouring the market for a striker this summer. The African attacker is keen on embarking on an adventure in the Premier League in the summer transfer window, with KRC Genk demanding around £15 million to part ways with him.
Tolu Arokodare has established himself as one of the best strikers in the Jupiler Pro League since joining KRC Genk from Amiens SC in January 2023. A native of Festac, the 24-year-old, who stands at 6ft 4in tall, spent his formative years in Nigeria but has been in Europe since July 2019.
Arokodare enjoyed an excellent 2024/25 campaign, contributing to 30 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions by finding the back of the net 23 times and providing seven assists. Meanwhile, the Nigerian striker’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Premier League outfits, in particular, are keen on signing him, with Fulham and Manchester United his prospective suitors this summer.
Manchester United’s interest in Tolu Arokodare is understandable. The Red Devils are combing the market for a striker this summer after Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee failed to be prolific in front of the goal in the 2024/25 season. So, several candidates have emerged on Manchester United’s radar, with the KRC Genk centre-forward also a viable target.
Meanwhile, Arokodare has been on Fulham’s radar for a long time. The continued interest makes sense, considering Raul Jimenez is on the wrong side of 30 and approaching the twilight of his career. So, while Fulham will look to keep Rodrigo Muniz beyond the summer transfer window, the KRC Genk striker is also an option worth considering. The Cottagers have already held exploratory talks over a possible move.
Meanwhile, the Belgian club will demand around £15 million to part ways with Arokodare in the summer transfer window. With Fulham kick-starting the move to beat Manchester United to the 24-year-old Nigerian international, it will be interesting to see where he plies his trade in the 2025/26 season amid his desire to move to the Premier League.
