Fulham in transfer tussle to sign Vladyslav Vanat

Fulham will reportedly compete with Leeds United to sign 23-year-old Ukrainian international Vladyslav Vanat from Dynamo Kyiv in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Ukrainian outlet Sport, Vladyslav Vanat is the subject of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers are scouring the market for a striker heading into the summer transfer window as they prepare to part ways with Carlos Vinicius. So, the 23-year-old Dynamo Kyiv centre-forward has emerged as a target for the West London club.

Who is Vladyslav Vanat?

Vladyslav Vanat is the latest highly-rated prospect to rise in prominence in Ukraine. The last few years have witnessed the ascent of Georgy Sudakov and Mykhailo Mudryk, among others. Vanat has also burst into the spotlight due to his exploits in the 2024/25 season.

A native of Kamyanets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, he began his youth career at DYuSSh-2 Kamianets-Podilskyi, a club in his home town. However, the 23-year-old graduated from the youth division at Dynamo Kyiv, making his first-team bow for the fabled club in May 2021. Since then, Vanat has come leaps and bounds, becoming a pivotal figure for Dynamo Kyiv.

The Ukrainian striker has contributed to 29 goals in 43 appearances across all competitions, finding the back of the net 21 times and providing eight assists. Meanwhile, Vanat’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs across Europe. Fulham will be among the prospective suitors vying for his signature heading into the summer transfer window.

London calling?

Fulham’s interest in Vladyslav Vanat is understandable. The Cottagers are scouring the market for a striker heading into the summer transfer window as they prepare to part ways with Carlos Vinicius. In addition, Raul Jimenez is on the wrong side of 30, with the Mexican international approaching the twilight of his career.

So, several strikers, including Kasper Dolberg, have emerged on Fulham’s radar, with Vanat also a viable target for the West London club. However, the Cottagers are not alone in the race to secure the youngster’s services in the summer transfer window.

Leeds United will compete with Fulham for the 23-year-old Ukrainian international. However, it is unclear how much Dynamo Kyiv will demand to part ways with Vanat amid his emerging links with Premier League clubs.
