The Nigerian packs plenty of experience in the game, and at 28, he has plenty more to offer. Regarded as one of the stable midfielders in the top flight, Ndidi boasts experience of 220 games in the Premier League alone with the Foxes.

He came close to leaving the club last summer when his contract expired momentarily, before signing a new deal until 2027. The agreement came with a relegation clause, which allows Ndidi to leave for £9 million this summer, as Manchester United and Everton are looking at the possibility of signing the Nigerian.

Everton are in the market for a new midfielder, with links to Sean Longstaff among others. David Moyes wants an experienced presence in the middle of the park. They could view the £9m-rated midfielder as a bargain signing of sorts, that will certainly improve their overall quality.
