Tottenham, Everton, Leeds United vying for Yehor Yarmolyuk

Tottenham, Everton and Leeds United are all keen on Brentford midfielder Yehor Yarmolyuk as a move away could become a possibility.

According to Caught Offside, a host of Premier League sides including newly promoted Leeds United are keen on Brentford midfielder Yehor Yarmolyuk. Everton and Tottenham are the other contenders for the Ukranian star, as the Bees could demand as much as €30 million.

Yehor Yarmolyuk could be one of the names that could fly under the radar in this transfer window. The Brentford midfielder has already made an impact at the top-half Premier League side, playing in 31 games in the league last season.

He has a long-term contract until 2031, with Brentford holding the option to extend the same by another season. Hence, the Bees theoretically have all the power in deciding his future, although the report states they might consider offers in the region of €30 million should they sell.

Yarmolyuk already has plenty of suitors including newly promoted Leeds United. Daniel Farke’s side are looking at quality options that would allow them to sustain their first season back in the top flight and aid their bid to stay afloat for another season at the very least.

They could technically propose something that allows Yarmolyuk a prominent role at the club, although he might not want to take that risk given Brentford are now an established top-half Premier League side. Hence, the 21-year-old whizkid could evaluate other ideas, such as those coming from Tottenham and Everton.

Everton and Tottenham to battle for Yehor Yarmolyuk?

Tottenham are closing in on appointing Thomas Frank as their new manager, with the Dane likely to be key in their efforts to land the Ukranian. Spurs are chasing some prominent young profiles, which could see them track Yarmolyuk as a potential option for their midfield. They are also linked with Middlesbrough’s Hayden Hackney, who carries a profile similar to the Brentford star.

Everton are also in the mix for a new midfielder with recent links to Wilfried Ndidi, who has a nominal relegation clause that makes it a cost-effective signing. However, David Moyes would like long-term planning, as Yarmolyuk could be seen as someone fitting their style and long-term vision.  Hence, the Ukranian will assess his options, as staying put at Brentford is also a possibility.
