On the back of an impressive season with FC Metz’s first team, the French giants signed the Senegalese international last summer. In his debut campaign for Monaco, Camara was involved in a total of 40 matches, and he even ended up contributing towards nine goals.
While he prefers playing as a central midfielder, he was equally effective in a defensive role. His consistent performances haven’t gone unnoticed, and multiple top clubs from across Europe want to sign him.
Crystal Palace from England are quite keen on adding him to their squad. Oliver Glasner is desperate to add more depth and quality to his midfield and considers the versatile Camara an ideal fit for his system.
The Eagles are quite serious about signing the 21-year-old, and they have already contacted his agents as they look to learn more about a potential move. They are willing to offer him a long-term deal to convince him to make the jump to England.
