PSG prospect Oumar Camara (18) is on the verge of signing for Scottish Premiership giants Glasgow Rangers, according to RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins. The 18-year-old was PSG’s skipper for their U19 side. He logged seven goals and four assists in 19 games. Camara is a versatile striker who could play as a centre-forward or as a right-winger.
PSG reportedly offered Camara a professional contract, but the 18-year-old has been convinced by the Rangers’ project. The PSG Academy product is set to sign a long-term deal with the 55-time Scottish champions. Camara is set to feature for Barry Ferguson’s first-team squad. Rangers have qualified for next season’s Champions League second qualifying round courtesy of their second-place finish in the league.
